ProjectWe didn't start with AI. We started with a simple observation: organizations don't fail because of strategy. They fail because of people — misalignment, distrust, knowledge that never gets shared, leaders who can't see what's happening inside their own companies.

We've spent four decades solving that problem. AI just made it visible to everyone else.

1980s–2000s
Where It Started

Founded in high-performance training for athletes and military special operations. Developed the core methodology — experiential learning, leadership under pressure, building trust in high-stakes environments. Worked with the US Army, Marines, and elite athletic programs.

The insight from this era: Performance isn’t about talent. It’s about alignment, trust, and the systems people operate within.
2000s–2020
Where It Grew

Expanded into corporate leadership, culture change, and family enterprise advisory. Helped organizations like American Airlines, AT&T, Cisco, Microsoft, Cargill, and Taylor Corporation build high-performance cultures and navigate complex transitions — succession planning, wealth transfer, leadership development across generations.

The insight from this era: The same human dynamics that drive performance in elite environments drive (or destroy) value in businesses.
2020–Present
Where It’s Going

Recognized that AI adoption was failing for the same reasons culture change has always failed: misalignment, tribal knowledge, resistance to change, founder dependency. Integrated AI strategy and workflow automation into the proven human performance methodology. ProjectWe was born.

The insight from this era: AI is the forcing function that reveals the human work that was always needed.

The tools have evolved. The methodology hasn't — because the human dynamics haven't changed. We've always believed that leaders understand their businesses better than any consultant. Our job is to help them see what they can't see from inside, capture what matters, and build systems that let their organizations outgrow any single individual.
